What makes Board Budder different from regular ski and snowboard wax?
Most ski and snowboard wax is made from paraffin, a petroleum product, and some still carries PFAS (fluorocarbons). Board Budder is made from 100% natural ingredients with no PFAS, no paraffin and no petroleum, and it is readily biodegradable. Formulated and made in Salt Lake City.
Is Board Budder wax fluoro-free?
Yes. There is zero PFAS: no fluorinated waxes, no fluoropolymers, and no PTFE.
Which wax should I buy for my snow temp?
All Temp Wax: 10°F to 40°F / -12°C to 4°C, packed powder, groomers, mixed days. Cold Temp Wax: -15°F to 10°F / -26°C to -12°C, hardpack, frozen groomers, deep cold. Warm Temp Wax: 32°F to 50°F / 0°C to 10°C, soft snow, sunny afternoons, spring corn. Slush Wax: 45°F+ / 7°C+, full slush, park laps, closing weekend. Only buying one? Start with All Temp.

How do I hot wax my board with Board Budder?
Set your waxing iron to 120 to 130°C, drip the wax on, iron it across the base, let it cool, then scrape and brush. About 15 minutes start to finish. Step by step: How to wax your base like a pro.
